Currently found trading at BOXPARK CROYDON, Gabagools are a purveyor of some of the most delicious sandwiches you can find in London with inspirations drawn from classic NY subs to Persian street food. Headed up by esteemed chef Mattie Taiano, Gabagools is fast establishing itself in the food industry as the new kid on the block.

Gabagools was established in September 2017 and began as a pop-up trading at various markets and festivals. After successful stints at cool and cosy Walworth Road diner Louie Louie and the super-popular cocktail bar Peckham Springs; Gabagools went on to win a 6 month rent-free pop-up competition at BOXPARK CROYDON and will begin trading there from early August 2018. You can expect some of the worlds finest and most delicious sandwiches tweaked and refined to perfection by Head Chef Mattie Taiano and his strong team of sandwich experts. Oh and make sure you don't miss out on their famous Mac n Cheese balls! Made with a classic Jamaican recipe, the Mac n cheese pie is baked and cut up; then rolled into balls, breaded, and deep-fried to give you a glorious taste of melted Caribbean cheesy heaven!
Head Chef Mattie Taiano is well known from his time as Head Chef at Franks Rooftop & Llewllyn's Herne Hill. After gaining valuable experience in his early years working at award-winning restaurants in the industry such as Anchor & Hope (Southwark) and The Camberwell Arms, Mattie decided to begin his own venture pursuing a personal passion of his in sandwiches.
